We strive to honor Dr. MLK Jr. Elementary School’s history as a cornerstone of Portland’s Albina neighborhood; provide resources to meet the needs of the school’s families and staff; and create a safe, supportive space for all community voices to be heard.

There are lots of opportunities to volunteer at the school!

For in-school volunteering you are required to apply for a background check at Portland Public School's Volunteer Application process here: https://www.pps.net/volunteer.
