Corporate Sponsorships are our most important fundraising avenue.  Budgets continually get cut and government funds are tighter than ever.  We heavily rely on our surrounding business community of  North Portland, NE Portland, and the greater Portland community to help make our students' experience bright and rewarding.  Previous funds raised have gone to:

• Field Trips to incredible Portland institutions like the Newmark Theatre, the Children's Theatre, The Portland Art Museum, The Oregon Zoo, Horning's Hideout, OMSI, 

• Basic classroom supplies, snacks for students, support for our dedicated teachers and staff

• Support for financially struggling families and free after-school programs for low income students

• Community-building multicultural events that foster inclusivity and connection

How to Sponsor our School

1. You can make your tax-deductible contribution online at https://app.givebacks.gives/drmlkjr and put "Sponsorship - [COMPANY NAME]"  in the Additional Information (3rd) section. 

2. Or, you can mail a check to the address below made out to "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Elementary School PTA."  In the Memo section, please write your company name and email address.

• Green Bridge Coffee: Place your coffee order with Green Bridge Coffee, select Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. PTA at checkout and 10% of your purchase will go to support the PTA! 

• TruEarth: Use this link to make a purchase of TruEarth laundry supplies and a percent of the purchase will be donated to the PTA. 

• BottleDrop - Raise funds for the PTA by recycling your cans. You can pick up bottle-drop bags at the base of the ramp to the courtyard. Fill your bags with your cans, and drop off full bags at the most convenient BottleDrop site.
