The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. PTA invites you to join us in...

 Honoring our diversity.
 Actively breaking down barriers of exclusion.
 Building bridges of equity.
 Growing and thriving together in Common Unity!

At times we may ignore it, but there is no denying that "Race" is a factor - in our society as well as our school.

Courageous Conversation is a community bridge building tool that can equip us to develop shared strategies to engage interracially in a safe, honest and transparent way as we cultivate a more authentically inclusive environment in which our children can learn, grow and truly thrive ... together! We will integrate this tool into our PTA meetings every other month: October, December, February and April.
