Traducción al español por debajo del Inglés Hello all: It may seem far away now, but our PTA election on May 9th is approaching fast. There have been a lot of changes at King and the PTA is changing too—will you be a part of that change? As president, I am coming to the end…

Eco-School Network Beach Clean-up

Each President’s Day, the Eco-School Network creates an opportunity for you to make a real difference for our ocean – cleaning up the site with the highest-density of plastic debris on the West Coast: the jetty at Fort Stevens State Park.

1. Please RSVP to rachel@ecoschoolnetwork.org if you are interested in attending. Please include the number of adults and children, as well as the names of children (we will have certificates for them).

2. When: Sunday, February 16th at noon

3. Where: Fort Stevens State Park, Parking Lot C

Please RSVP to rachel@ecoschoolnetwork.org so we make sure to have enough supplies.

New this year, Projects for Good, a crowdfunding and volunteer matching program for community benefit projects is raising funds and public awareness to boost the impact of our clean-up. Check out our project page and please share the link with your networks!

If anyone has Allstate Insurance, please consider inquiring with your agent about their $1000 grant program where the agent volunteers 2 hours of their time and gives $1000 to the non-profit!

I asked to see if he would attend our Community Care day coming on Jan. 21st 1-3pm. Unfortunately, my agent has allocated his donations for the year. He gets $2000. Their fiscal year begins in May for new set of donations.

We can take all the help we can get!
