MLK JR. SCHOOL GARDEN/GROUNDS WORK PARTY
All Are Welcome
Saturday October, 21st
10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Please join the MLK JR. PTA, NE Coalition of Neighborhoods, and Green King as we:
- Pick up litter around our green spaces and campus.
- Remove weeds and a few dead plants.
- Plant some native plants and trees.
- Enjoy coffee, snacks and neighbors!
- Learn about our bioswale, our efforts to become certified as Backyard Habitat and how it fits into our goals of creating community.
Please feel free to bring your work gloves, shovels, brooms and other yard tools… (If you don’t have any of those things we would be so honored if you just bring you!)
Come as early as you would like, stay as long as you can…no matter the time you invest we appreciate you my Friend!!!
